JOIN THE RIDE. JOIN THE FUN.

JOIN THE MOVEMENT.

We believe bicycling should be a safe and fun way to get around for anyone in Greater Philadelphia. Bike riders and active transportation enthusiasts of all stripes are part of our movement to promote healthy and sustainable ways of getting around.

Whether you’re new to cycling or you spend every weekend in kit, you belong in the Bicycle Coalition community. Our membership spans Philadelphia, the eight surrounding counties in PA and NJ, and beyond.

Do you bike the Greater Philadelphia region? Then we want you to join our 2400+ members working to make everyone’s ride better.

What our members are saying:

”I got my first adult bike last year and I’ve been riding ever since. I’m commuting and generally riding for the first time in my life, and while most days, hopping on my bike feels like an act of bravery, I’ve gotten so comfortable with the help of the Coalition’s Urban Basics class as well as support and advice from the Folks n Spokes Facebook group that now, riding is one of the main ways that I de-stress and alleviate some of my anxieties. Biking is my new favorite activity and it’s great for my mind, body and soul.”

Elizabeth

”I got a great discount on my bike from a bike shop partner. But more importantly, I really appreciate the organizing the Bicycle Coalition does in keeping the Philly area informed about all issues concerning biking and walking in the region, including proposed infrastructure that needs public support and policies that need changing. And they put on a ton of fun biking events like group rides and happy hours!”

Daniel

”In terms of giving back, my investment in the Bicycle Coalition is a kind of spiritual pursuit. I have found that working with the Coalition not only makes riding safer for me personally but also makes life better for all other riders. I have four grown children, all of whom live in the Philadelphia area and all of them ride on a regular basis. The Coalition has made them safer.”
