The Folx N Spokes network, in partnership with the Bicycle Coalition relaunched at the 2024 Bike Expo on Saturday, March 16th, with a networking event for women, trans and non-binary cyclists.

The room buzzed with over 50 participants, coming together with the shared goal of raising visibility and participation of women, trans and non-binary cyclists.  Organizations, including Little Bellas, Philly Devo, Black Girl Joy Ride, DC Queer Bike Rides, Radical Adventure Riders and more shared about the work they do to support women, trans and/or non-binary Riders.

Participants mingled and responded to questions about the Philly bike scene on the wall.  Check out the thoughts of attendees:

There is lots more we can do together to address these barriers and continue to make joyful spaces for women, trans and non-binary riders.

Join us!  The Folx N Spokes network is working to create more networking opportunities in the coming year.  For more information, check out the Folx N Spokes page on the Bicycle Coalition Website.
