Ride to World Day of Remembrance PHL

Sun November 16, 2024 – Ride to the World Day of Remembrance for Traffic Violence Victims Rally .

Level D: 10mph, 8 miles. Meet at Azalea Garden’s formal entrance, behind the Art Museum. The ride leaves at 9:30am. It is roughly 4 miles to the World Day of Remembrance for Traffic Violence Victims Rally at Fairhill Square Park 412 W Huntingdon St. The rally is organized by the Bicycle Coalition of Greater Philadelphia. Sidney Ozer is leading the ride to the rally. After the rally, Sidney will lead cyclists back to the Azalea Garden. This is an opportunity for all of us, including people who normally don’t ride in the city, to show our support. There is free street parking along Sedgely Drive btwn Kelly Dr & Poplar Dr. Our hearts go out to all of those among us for whom this is a painful reminder of loved ones they have lost in traffic violence incidents over the years. It’s time for our leaders to step up and make our streets safe for all users. Words are not enough.
