Philadelphia Bike Community Solidarity Ride

Sam Ozer, 6/21/20

Nadir Nafis Holloman Jr. (Lil Naddy), 7/7/20

Will Lindsay, 7/12/20

Michael Hackman, 7/22/20

Join us as we ride to honor these four people who were killed this month, and to recognize every rider who has been hit, harassed or scared by an automobile. The ride is organized by friends & family of Will Lindsay “in honor of those we have lost, in support of ourselves and each other, in solidarity with Vision Zero.”

The ride will meet at the Dell Music Center parking lot (intersection of Strawberry Mansion Bridge Drive and Huntingdon Drive) at 1pm and end at East Laurel Hill Cemetery, following a 12 mile route that is accessible for all levels. The full route map is available here.

Please remember to wear a bicycle helmet, wear a mask, bring plenty of water and follow all COVID-19 precautions.

COVID-19 Information: PLEASE we ask that everyone riding wear a mask. PLEASE ride with your “Covid-19 Family Groups” only and socially distance from others. This means, if you plan on riding you must follow current CDC guidelines (i.e, masking when not able to be more than 6ft apart and interacting with others, not spitting/coughing/sneezing). Likewise, if you have been feeling unwell or have been exposed to someone who has been feeling unwell or tested positive for COVID-19, we respectfully ask that you stay home.

There may be Police Department presence on sections of the route at the request of the organizers.
