Lloyd Hall Learn-to-Ride: August 2020

This Adult Learn-to-Ride is a 2-hour class for adults, or mature teens, who are ready to ride a bicycle! It is composed of an indoor class at the Lloyd Hall gymnasium, followed by an outdoor lesson along a quiet lane. Pending weather conditions and availability, this class may be moved to the Azalea Garden to promote social distancing.

Students will be shown how to balance, pedal, start, stop, and steer a bicycle as well as adjust a helmet for proper fit. Most people learn to ride a bicycle during the class, but even if they do not they’ll leave knowing a low-stress method to teach themselves to ride.

An additional $14.04 (includes tax) fee is paid directly to the Wheel Fun rental kiosk at the beginning of class, for the actual bicycle rental. The rental fee is not included in the non-refundable registration ticket.

Height Restriction: the bikes rented for this class cannot accommodate students who are under 5’2″ in height.

* SEPTA bus routes 7, 32, 38, 43, 48 pass closest to the Art Museum area.

* Parking is available: Lloyd Hall lot / along Sedgley Drive / Art Museum garage.

* Minors participating in this class will need an adult (over 18yrs) to sign the waiver on their behalf.

Could you please let me know when you plan another of these events. I know they used to be monthly and I hadn’t realized you were offering one in August. Thank you.
