Jenkintown Halloween Lights Ride

Saturday, October 25th, 2025

 Time:

Meet at 6:00 PM, roll out around 6:15 PM (just after sunset)

 Location:

 Jenkintown Town Square, 703 Greenwood Ave

 What:

A fun, family-friendly community bike ride through town, featuring decorated bikes, costumes, and lights — all ages and abilities welcome!

 Purpose:

To raise awareness for safer streets for pedestrians and bikes, and to bring the community together for a joyful, low-stress ride.

 Safety Notes:

• Helmets required
• No training wheels or balance bikes, please (to keep the group safe)
• Deck out your ride in lights — it’s part of the fun! (lights required, we’ll have some extras)

More details / FAQs

• We will have experienced safety marshals at front and back of the group. Please have your party listen closely to their instructions.
• Please DO NOT go ahead of the group leads or behind the last marshal.
• Parents – Please keep a close eye on your children if they are riding adjacent to you and ensure they take the hills very slowly. Safety is our biggest concern!
• Ensure your bike is in good working order prior to the event.
• Event will be canceled with rain or ice.
