Bike Handling Skills Clinic & Tour Watch Party
QCW and Cadence Cycling are putting on a skills clinic for group rides and racing followed by a Tour de France watch party at Cadence! This will be an opportunity for bicyclists with group riding experience to build their skills and confidence in group and solo riding, avoiding crashes, and sailing around corners smoothly and safely.
*Open to all riders, but recommended for riders with group riding experience.*

Join us in the Philadelphia Navy Yard in the morning and follow on to Cadence cycling Center City location to watch Saturday’s the Tour de France stage.
8:30 AM – Riding skills clinic for improved bike handling and crash avoidance. The focus will be on riders who are new to group rides or just want to brush up on their skills. Techniques include low speed bumping drills, on-bike balance, and handling techniques.
9:30 AM – Cornering clinic plus race tactics. Learn how to corner quickly and safely using different techniques on the quiet roads in the Philadelphia Navy Yard.
10:30 AM – The clinic portion concludes. Group departs or proceeds to TdF watch party. .
11:15 AM – Arrive at Cadence Cycling’s Center City location for snacks, refreshments and the last 40k or so of Stage 20 of the Tour de France.
BAG DROP OPTION– 8:00 AM drop bags at Cadence Cycling Center City for those who want to leave a change of clothes for the post-ride Tour de France watch party. Store will be open at 8 and then ride leaders folks will proceed to the Navy Yard.
