Circuit Trails Projects Receive Grants from PA Act 13 Funds

At today’s Commonwealth Financing Authority meeting, five number of Circuit Trail projects and four Circuit Connection projects were awarded funds from the Greenways Trails and Recreation Program. This is one of the state grant programs that benefits trails and bike/ped facilities, and this is good news for The Circuit. Keep reading to see the specific projects getting funded.

#416 – Schuylkill Banks Bulkhead Restoration – Schuylkill River Development Corp – $75,000

#432 – Schuylkill River Trail Gap Improvement Project – City of Reading – $125,000

#446 – Fort Washington Cross County Trail & Road Diet – Upper Dublin Township – $150,000

#458 – Radnor Trail Extension – Radnor Township – $50,000

#471 – Bridesburg Riverfront Park Construction – Riverfront North Partnership – $225,000

Circuit Connections

#440 – Betzwood Park Trail Connection – West Norriton Township – $75,000

#442 – Coopersburg Saucon Rail Trail Completion – Borough of Coopersburg – $250,000

#447 – Schuylkill Trail East Construction – Upper Providence Township – $195,000

#459 – Royersford Riverfront Park & Trail Phase IV – Royersford Borough – $100,000
