BIKE TO WORK & WHEREVER DAY:
Join us and Philly Bike Train to celebrate cycling as transport! We are hosting five group rides from different parts of Philadelphia, each with Philly Bike Ride Energizer Stations providing snacks & beverages beforehand. All five rides will meet at Dilworth Plaza for coffee and a press conference focusing on the need for fair access to safe, high-quality bike lanes in our city. Let’s pedal our way to a better Philly together!
Wednesday, May 14th, 8am-10am. More info + RSVP
RIDE OF SILENCE:
Every year, for more than two decades, cyclists throughout Greater Philadelphia come together to ride silently in honor of riders killed or injured by motorists. Although bicyclists have a legal right to share the road with motorists, the public often isn’t aware of these rights, and sometimes not aware of cyclists themselves. The goal of this annual, international event is to not have another ride, but to have a year with zero bicyclist deaths.
Wednesday, May 21st, 6:30pm-8pm. More info + RSVP.
AND THAT’S NOT ALL! There are plenty more rides and activities happening throughout the Region. View the full Bike Month Calendar →
