There are options to ride to the Art Museum with a group starting at 6 PM from Indego stations at 38th & Spring Garden or Spring Garden & Broad St.
Wednesday, May 1st, 7-9PM. More info + RSVP.

BIKE PARTY ON MLK: CANCELED DUE TO WEATHER
We love car-free weekends on MLK Drive, and we know folks throughout the City and near suburbs do too. Join us on Sunday (National Ride a Bike Day) from 10 am – 2 pm to share stories about how you use a car-free MLK Drive and get information on safe cycling, scheduled group rides, Bike Month events, and more community cycling opportunities. At noon, the Bicycle Club of Philadelphia will host a ride for all ages and abilities starting from the Formal Entrance to the Azalea Garden, ride across Falls Bridge and return.

HUNTING PARK HUSTLE N’ RIDE:
The Bicycle Coalition Youth Cycling Program is throwing its very first Hustle n’ Ride event on May 11 in Hunting Park. Come hang out at the festival with food trucks, music, and cheer on our young athletes as they compete in Time Trial and Criterium races. Everyone in the community is invited to join in on the fun with the Big Loop, where you can ride around the Criterium course. Get ready for an exciting event with BCYC that you won’t want to miss!
Saturday, May 11th, 9:30am-2pm. Get the full details.

RIDE OF SILENCE:
For the past 20 years, cyclists throughout Greater Philadelphia have come together to ride silently in honor of riders killed or injured by motorists. Although bicyclists have a legal right to share the road with motorists, the public often isn’t aware of these rights, and sometimes not aware of cyclists themselves. The goal of this annual, international event is to not have another ride, but to have a year with zero bicyclist deaths.
Wednesday, May 15th, 6:30pm-8pm. More info + RSVP.

BIKE TO WORK & WHEREVER DAY:
Join us to celebrate cycling as transport! We are hosting three group rides from different parts of Philadelphia, each with Philly Bike Ride Energizer Stations providing snacks & beverages beforehand. All three rides will meet up at Dilworth Plaza for a press conference focusing on the need for fair access to safe, high quality bike lanes in our city. Let’s pedal our way to a better Philly together!
Friday, May 17th, 8am-10am. More info + RSVP.

AND THAT’S NOT ALL! There are plenty more rides and activities happening throughout the Region. View the full Bike Month Calendar  →
