Giving Tuesday is a global day of giving fueled by the power of social media and collaboration; the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, when nonprofit organizations are recognized for the work they do for the communities.
For this year’s Giving Tuesday, November 29, we hope you will help us and a great organization in South Philadelphia.
For every donation received by the Bicycle Coalition of Greater Philadelphia between now and the 29th, we will donate one set of bicycle lights to JUNTOS, a non-profit Latino immigrant community-led organization fighting for human rights as workers, parents, youth, and immigrants.
JUNTOS combines leadership development, community organizing, and focused collaborations with other community-based and advocacy organizations to build the power of our community so we may be active agents of change. Their mission: every human being has the right to a quality education and the freedom to live with dignity.
