The Bicycle Club of Philadelphia’s Schuylkill Century ride is coming up September 7th. Information from them about the ride below:

Join us on Sunday, Sept. 7, at the Bicycle Club of Philadelphia’s 16th Annual Scenic Schuylkill Century. We have routes suitable for both recreational cyclists (perfect for those who have ridden Bike Philly in the past) and avid cyclists (perfect for those who have ridden the Gran Fondo in the past):

  • A flat 25-miler that’s mostly on the resurfaced Schuylkill River Trail
  • A more challenging 40-miler that’s ideal for those looking for a little more distance,
  • Metric and full century routes on some of the most beautiful and quiet roads in the greater Philly area.

Pre-registration is through to Aug. 31 (BCP members: $26, non-members: $31). You can also register from Sept 1-4 or at the event ($31 for all, but you won’t be entitled to this year’s gift, a cycling wallet). Famous for our hospitality, food and great routes, we offer breakfast at the start, a pizza bash at the finish, numerous rest stops featuring homemade baked goods, and mechanical and SAG (support and gear) support throughout.
