Upper Darby, a township right across Philly’s western border, has been busy improving its bike network, and the Bicycle Coalition is partnering with the town’s recreation department to host a tour of those recent improvements.
Riders will travel along bike lanes on parts of 69th Street and Lansdowne Avenue, newly finished parts of the Naylor’s Run Trail, and low-stress routes to Naylor’s Run Park. The ride is nine miles and mostly low-stress and scenic, with a few difficult road crossings and riding with traffic on 69th Street and Lansdowne Avenue.
