This past weekend, our Regional Planner Leonard Bonarek had the opportunity to present at the 6th Annual Western Suburbs Trails Summit at the Haverford Community Recreation & Environmental Center (CREC) in Delaware County. The focus of the event was the status of trail and other bike facility development in the western suburbs of Philly (MontCo, DelCo & Chester).
Leonard gave a presentation on our County Affiliate Groups, our new TASCC initiative, the 500/2025 Circuit resolution campaign, DVRPC’s LTS dataset and how we can use it to plan for better suburban bike facilities, as well as the death of BOP and subsequent installation of suburban bike lanes by PennDOT.
