Brenda Hernandez-Torres was born in Mexico City, Mexico, then moved to Philadelphia when she was 7. A Community Lead Organizer in Philadelphia, she has devoted her life to fighting for immigration justice and advocating for human rights. Brenda became interested in bicycling after she began riding her bike to work as an adult, and believes it’s of the utmost importance for cars to share the road with bicycles. In addition to her work with the Bicycle Coalition, she is working hard to promote the Not1More campaign while playing the Jarana with her group, Movement Son Revoltura.
