When we got 50 new bikes for our Cadence Youth Cycling athletes, we saw an opportunity. Not just for the student athletes — who are sure grateful to Philadelphia-based Fuji Bikes for the new bicycles — who are going to utilize them for years to come. But we saw it as an opportunity to host a party for our members and the public to come together for some refreshments, food, and the opportunity to spend an afternoon working on putting these bikes together with some local mechanics.

We couldn’t have put together the bikes without the help of Kurtz Construction, who donated their time and warehouse space in Wyndmoor, Pennsylvania, so we could hold the event. Check out all the photos of the event below.
