Did your PA County get a DCNR Grant for Cycling? (spoiler alert: it did)

DCNR Funding will help this portion of the Chester Valley Trail get built, so less intrepid riders can use it too!

Earlier this month, the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR) announced its latest round of grant awards. The Circuit (and related amenities) in the five counties on the PA side of our region made out quite well, raking in over $4 million in funding.

A quick highlight of trail beneficiaries include

  • Bucks
    • Neshaminy Greenway
  • Chester
    • Chester Valley Trail
    • Schuylkill River Trail
    • Enola Low Grade Trail (western extension of the Chester Valley Trail)
  • Delaware
    • Octoraro Trail
    • Darby Creek Trail
  • Montgomery
    • Wissahickon Trail
    • Royersford Riverfront Trail
    • Cross County Trail
  • Philadelphia
    • Cobbs Creek Connector Trail
    • Schuylkill River Trail
