On Thursday September 15th, the Bicycle Coalition of Greater Philadelphia will be holding a happy hour at Drinkers Pub from 5-7pm. Drinkers Pub is at 1903 Chestnut Street near Rittenhouse Square.
Drinkers Pub features a wide range of food and drink options including $5 nachos that night!
They have also offered to donate 20% of the happy hour proceeds to the Bicycle Coalition, which will go directly toward our work on Vision Zero and education.
Earlier this month BCGP announced the creation of the Philadelphia Vision Zero Alliance, this is a group of organizations who believe in the need for Philadelphia to better focus on solutions for all Philadelphia’s neighborhoods to calm traffic and create new streets and corridors which respect human dignity.
The Alliance includes: Bicycle Coalition of Greater Philadelphia, AAA-Mid Atlantic, the African-American Chamber of Commerce, 5th Square, the Clean Air Council, Run 215, Jefferson Hospitals, Public Health Management Corporation, and Parsons Brinckerhoff.
The happy hour will be a fun way to learn more about Vision Zero and the new Alliance with Bicycle Coalition staff, members, and advocates from the city.
